A close-up portrait of a young figure with loosely swept-up hair and a voluminous ruffled collar, built entirely from rapid, overlapping hatched lines in orange, magenta, cyan, violet, and dark brown on white paper. Form is implied rather than outlined, emerging from the density and direction of layered multicolour strokes — a signature speed-drawing approach in which colour itself carries structure.
