A close-up female portrait built entirely from rapid, layered strokes of multicolor ballpoint pen or marker, with cross-hatching used to model the face, cascading red-orange hair, and upper body against a white ground. Radiating lines in every spectral hue burst outward from the figure, merging background energy with the form and giving the work a charged, centrifugal intensity.
