Untitled (March 2021)

A bare-chested female figure with long auburn hair leans forward, head bowed and eyes downcast in an attitude of quiet introspection, her wet-looking hair parting to reveal a delicately rendered face with red lips. The work is painted directly on canvas in loose, gestural strokes — oil or acrylic — building warm pink and ochre flesh tones against a vivid, energetically marked green ground that suggests dense foliage.
