A half-length female figure study built up in colored pencil and soft pastel over a loose, multi-hued ground of blues, purples, and greens, with energetic black marker lines scrawled across the head and shoulders in rapid calligraphic bursts. The face is the most resolved passage — a direct, slightly pensive gaze rendered with careful tonal shading — while the hair, arms, and surroundings dissolve into gestural abstraction.
