Hillside Houses

A gestural, semi-abstract painting depicting a dense informal settlement or scrapyard — stacked angular structures, sparse scrubby trees, and dark interior voids set against a warm sandy ground and vivid cobalt sky. The surface is built in rapid, overlapping acrylic strokes with energetic white linear marks that cut through the mid-ground, giving the scene a raw, kinetic urgency.
