Reclining Nude, Pastel

A reclining nude figure is rendered in rapid, direct mixed-media strokes — pastel and charcoal on coarse-textured canvas — with warm oranges and earth tones building form against an abstract background of red gestural slashes layered over purple, blue, and green fields. Confident contour lines anchor the foreshortened pose while overlapping color passes create a sense of volume without academic rendering.
