Untitled (February 2020)

A smiling reclining woman fills the sheet diagonally, her dark-haired face resting near her forearms and turned directly toward the viewer. The work is built in colored soft pastels with charcoal or black pastel for linear accents, using vigorous overlapping cross-hatching in warm earth tones, greens, and blues to model form and fill the ground simultaneously.
