A seated female nude rendered from the waist up in warm pastels and chalk on a dark ground, built through energetic layered hatching in oranges, reds, and violet accents against an angular charcoal background. The face is directly observed and individualized, while the body is constructed with rapid, directional marks that expose the artist's speed-drawing method.
