A single figure reclines with head tilted back and face turned upward, rendered in rapid, overlapping felt-tip marker strokes on white paper clipped to a board. The face is modelled in magenta and deep shadow tones while the surrounding field explodes in dense, energetic hatching of orange, green, blue, and black, using colour expressively rather than descriptively.
One of 11 drawings from this night. All 11 as one unframed set: $462 instead of $660.
