A seated figure is depicted from the side and rear, the bare orange-red torso set against a blue draped lower body, with a loosely hatched woodland background of vertical brown tree forms and flickers of yellow light. The work is executed in coloured markers with rapid, energetic cross-hatching that gives the piece its raw, gestural character.
