A bust-length portrait of a young woman with a chin-length bob, rendered entirely in black ink on white paper using rapid, overlapping cross-hatched and diagonal strokes. The mark-making is energetic and gestural, building form and shadow through layered hatching rather than contour, with no tonal wash — pure line work throughout.
One of 16 drawings from this night. All 16 as one unframed set: $672 instead of $960.
