A female portrait executed in black ink or liquid marker on white paper, built from rapid, sweeping gestural strokes that define flowing hair and a face turned slightly upward. The composition plays heavy masses of black against bare white ground, with the facial features—eyes, nose, lips—resolved in a few precise, economical marks amid the surrounding energy.
