A standing figure shrouded in heavy, flowing drapery that cascades from head to foot, one arm raised with the hand visible at mid-torso; a strong, angular face in three-quarter profile emerges from the folds with closed or downcast eyes. Executed in charcoal on white paper, the work combines rapid gestural hatching with broad tonal masses to suggest volume and weight.
