Untitled (April 2017)

A female figure is shown in strict left-facing profile from the waist up, long hair trailing behind her neck and shoulder, rendered in charcoal or soft graphite on white cartridge paper. The mark-making is fast and layered — staccato hatching builds shadow across the jaw, throat, and chest while loose, whipping lines describe the fall of hair, giving the drawing a charged, kinetic quality.
