Untitled (April 2019)

A close-up portrait of a woman wearing an elaborate floral wreath crown, her red lips and dark-accented eyes emerging from a dense web of looping, multicolored scribble lines executed in ballpoint or fine marker. The entire image — figure, hair, garment, and white ground — is built through rapid continuous-line layering in red, blue, green, purple, yellow, and black, a hallmark of Buzunov's figurative speed-drawing method.
