Untitled (September 2017)

A gestural charcoal drawing showing two figures in close proximity: a face in profile with long, windswept hair fills the upper right while a second, more abstracted standing figure occupies the left, separated by a sliver of white paper. Dense, sweeping marks build heavy black masses that press against luminous negative space, the line work rapid and unresolved at the edges yet purposeful at the focal points.
