A seated nude female figure is built up through rapid, overlapping strokes of colored pencil — red, blue, green, yellow, and teal — layered in loose cross-hatching rather than conventional outline, so that form emerges from accumulated chromatic energy. The upward tilt of the head and the open, unresolved edges at the lower body are characteristic of a timed life-drawing session, giving the work a spontaneous, improvisational character.
