A close-up figurative portrait of a figure with head bowed and long hair falling forward, built from broad fluid washes of acrylic or gouache in ochre, cyan, red, and magenta overlaid with a dense network of undulating ink or marker lines that simultaneously construct and dissolve the form. The layering of translucent paint and energetic, wavy draftsmanship creates a chromatic, near-prismatic surface across the hair, neck, and torso.
One of 2 drawings from this night. All 2 as one unframed set: $113 instead of $120.
Framed is for this sheet. The others, picked here or as the whole night, come unframed; their frames are a preview.
