Drawing marathon

A fantastical central figure — resembling a costumed or bird-like character with a dark fringed skirt and peaked hat rendered in navy, teal, and purple — is flanked by heavily cross-hatched dark diamond shapes, all set against bold diagonal sweeps of yellow, lime-green, and magenta applied with felt-tip markers on white paper. The work uses rapid, gestural strokes to build a luminous colour field that contrasts sharply with the dense ink hatching of the flanking forms.
