Standing Nude

A standing nude figure is traced in rapid, confident dark contour lines over a dense field of overlapping horizontal and vertical color bands in orange, red, yellow, green, blue, and purple, which appear to be built up through multiple printed or painted layers. The gestural figure drawing is applied directly onto the chromatic grid, creating a tension between the bodily form and the pure visual noise of the striped ground.
