Tear

A female nude torso is rendered in gestural pastel and charcoal on paper, the figure's upper body twisting slightly as the bowed head disappears toward the top edge. Loose, expressive strokes of cobalt blue, rose pink, sage green, and ochre fill the background and bleed freely into the figure, producing a vibrant semi-abstract atmosphere around the more tightly drawn anatomical lines.
