A nude figure seen from behind occupies the centre of the sheet, built up from dense, staccato orange marker hatching that models the torso and arms with kinetic energy; surrounding it, a loose crowd of secondary figures and ambient scene-fragments is scratched in black ballpoint or felt-tip ink, creating a two-colour hierarchy between focal subject and atmospheric background. The work is executed at speed on white sketchbook paper, the orange strokes varying in pressure to suggest light and musculature.
One of 5 drawings from this night. All 5 as one unframed set: $255 instead of $300.
Framed is for this sheet. The others, picked here or as the whole night, come unframed; their frames are a preview.
