No Erasers Lab
A workshop on commitment, not on drawing faster.
No Erasers also works as a participatory workshop. Participants draw under limited time conditions: thirty seconds, sixty seconds, two minutes, five minutes, ten minutes. There is no erasing and no restarting.
The emphasis is not on producing a perfect drawing. The exercise encourages participants to commit to decisions and continue through uncertainty. Sessions can be built around portraits, gesture, objects, movement or street observation, and translate the studio methodology into a public activity for open studios, schools, community groups and fellow residents.
The central lesson is not “draw faster”. It is: make a decision and continue.
