Happy New Year

A standing nude female figure with curly auburn hair, arms crossed over her chest, rendered in soft pastels with energetic directional hatching in warm oranges, pinks, and purples set against a loosely abstracted multi-color background. The mark-making is rapid and layered, consistent with a timed life-drawing session using Sennelier soft pastels on paper mounted to a wooden board.
