A bust-length portrait of a young woman with long dark hair, rendered in oil pastels or wax crayons on white paper. The face is built up with layered warm ochres, reds, and browns, while loose circular background marks and vigorous cross-hatching in the clothing area give the drawing an energetic, spontaneous quality consistent with direct observational speed-drawing.
