A gestural charcoal or graphite sketch of a female figure seen in three-quarter profile from behind, her loosely gathered hair and strong facial profile turned to the right. Form and shadow are built through rapid, energetic hatching and cross-hatching, with the head resolved in detail while the torso dissolves into open, exploratory marks.
