A monochromatic ink-wash portrait of a female figure with long dark hair cascading over a downward-tilted face, executed with rapid, confident brushstrokes that leave the white paper as the primary light source for the skin. Bold wet washes construct the dark hair and background field while minimal gestural marks suggest eyes and mouth, characteristic of a direct speed-drawing approach.
