A reclining or hunched nude figure is built up through dense, rapid crosshatching executed in markers and ballpoint pens across a wide range of saturated hues — cobalt blue, cadmium orange, magenta, olive green, and black. Horizontal banding in contrasting colors structures the background into rough planes, giving the piece the charged, layered energy characteristic of direct speed-drawing in a spiral-bound sketchbook.
