Untitled (February 2018)

A dynamic gesture study of a nude female figure viewed from behind in a reaching or ascending pose, rendered rapidly in layered pastel and colored pencil on off-white paper. Broad chromatic fields of lavender, hot pink, olive green, and burnt orange build an energetic ground against which loose white and dark contour lines define the torso and limbs.
