Untitled (February 2017)

A seated female figure, partially unclothed, rendered in charcoal on cream paper with bold, gestural strokes and vigorous smudging; the face is deliberately abstracted while the body's weight and relaxed pose are conveyed through confident, economical mark-making. Broad tonal contrasts between near-black darks and the bare paper create a sense of volume and quiet introspection.
