A close-cropped charcoal life study of a nude female figure seen from behind, arching backward with both arms raised above the head; the composition cuts dramatically from mid-torso through the upper thighs. Bold, rapid strokes and broad tonal smudging build convincing three-dimensional volume across the hips and lower back, while loose fly-lines preserve the energy of a timed pose.
