A gestural portrait study built from three overlapping media layers on white paper: horizontal blue crayon or pastel stripes lay down a ground, a loose red marker oval defines the head mass, and dense rapid black marker lines carve out facial structure and hair with kinetic energy. The work reads as a direct, timed speed-drawing in which the figure emerges from accumulated mark-making rather than conventional contour.
