A charcoal or soft-graphite speed study of a female figure with her head thrown sharply back and mouth open wide, rendered in rapid, looping, overlapping lines that pulse with nervous energy. The face and hair are the most resolved passage; the torso dissolves into loose swirling marks below, and a faint second profile floats at the right edge of the sheet, suggesting multiple gestural passes on the same surface.
