Untitled (September 2017)

A woman in left-facing profile is depicted from the shoulders up, her light hair and bare upper torso built from energetic, layered marks on a dark charcoal ground. The work combines charcoal drawing with oil or soft pastel in coral, orange, pink, and violet, applied in rapid, overlapping strokes that give the figure a luminous, electric quality against the near-black background.
