A seated figure, torso bare and head bowed forward, built up from rapid overlapping strokes of red, teal, navy, and graphite pencil or wax crayon on white paper. The hunched posture and dense, energetic layering of marks convey inwardness or exhaustion, while the open white ground keeps the drawing from feeling heavy.
