A hooded, seated figure is built from dense, frenetic cross-hatched lines on textured white paper, the form simultaneously assembled and half-consumed by the mark-making. The technique appears to be a monoprint or drypoint intaglio, with ink transferred from a worked plate to produce a raw, high-contrast portrait whose energy reads as psychological as much as physical.
