Windmill

A dragonfly with outstretched wings hovers over a dense, kaleidoscopic flower meadow beneath a turbulent turquoise sky, rendered in rapid, gestural acrylic brushwork on paper. The palette of cobalt blue, hot pink, cadmium yellow-green and black is applied with stamped and daubed marks that give the foliage a near-printmaking texture, while bold ink-like strokes define the insect's body.
