A close-cropped ink study of a nude human torso, rendered almost entirely in rapid overlapping hatch marks that build from the cream paper to dense, near-black shadow zones along the spine and flanks. The mark-making is relentlessly gestural — short, looping and slashing strokes laid at speed — with musculature and form implied through accumulated line density rather than contour.
