Two figurative studies rendered in bold black marker on white paper: on the left, a standing clothed figure with hatched shading suggesting garments; on the right, a nude figure bent forward in a deep forward fold, drawn with confident, economical line work. The piece demonstrates rapid gesture drawing with gestural hatching used selectively to indicate shadow and volume.
One of 13 drawings from this night. All 13 as one unframed set: $546 instead of $780.
