Untitled (December 2017)

A reclining nude figure rendered in rapid, gestural brush-and-ink strokes on white paper, with broad grey washes laying in the body mass and bold black lines articulating limbs, torso, and foreshortened legs. The composition is built entirely through speed and economy of mark — overlapping sweeps of diluted ink create volume while calligraphic outlines snap the anatomy into focus.
