Untitled (December 2017)

A reclining figure is shown in profile with the head thrown back, rendered in rapid gestural strokes of black brush ink or broad-nib marker on white paper. The artist combines bold, sweeping washes with fine hatching lines to model form and volume, leaving the lower half of the sheet as open negative space.
