A solitary figure in a wide-brimmed hat and long coat is rendered from behind in rapid black ink on a spiral sketchbook page, the form emerging from dense, energetic crosshatching that also describes a shadowed architectural backdrop. The drawing is a speed study made with a fine-tipped marker, prioritising silhouette, tonal contrast, and atmospheric mood over anatomical precision.
