A nude male figure is depicted from roughly the waist up, head thrown back and one arm raised, drawn in rapid, angular strokes of black marker ink on spiral-bound sketchbook paper. The form is fractured into hard, faceted planes rather than smooth contours, giving the figure a cubist-adjacent energy built entirely from confident, unforgiving line work.
One of 8 drawings from this night. The 7 on sale as one unframed set: $332 instead of $420.
