A gestural ink portrait of a figure with long hair and a draped scarf, built entirely from rapid hatching and cross-hatching that collapses the face into dense shadow rather than resolved features. The mark-making is energetic and confident, moving from heavily worked tonal masses at the head to loose, trailing lines that leave the lower torso largely unresolved.
