A bust-length portrait of a middle-aged man in three-quarter profile, rendered in charcoal or compressed graphite on white paper. The face is worked with confident, layered strokes that define strong brow, cheekbone, and jaw, while the torso dissolves into rapid gestural marks, giving the piece the energy of a timed life-drawing session.
