A bust-length portrait of a woman built from rapid, layered ink or fine-liner marks and blue-grey chalk or pastel tone, with sharp flashes of magenta-red in the hair and across the face. The loose, accumulative line-work constructs form through energy rather than contour, producing a rawly expressive, psychologically charged image on a near-white ground.
