Untitled (May 2022)

A Cubist-inflected composition in which an upright human figure is dissolved into interlocking angular rectangles and polygonal planes rendered in blue colored pencil over a yellow-toned ground, with a smaller portrait fragment contained inside a nested frame at the upper right. The layering suggests a mixed-media approach — printed or brushed yellow colour fields overlaid with direct blue crayon or pencil linework — giving the surface a lively, exploratory energy.
