Untitled (March 2018)

A seated or crouching nude figure rendered in a spiral sketchbook using permanent markers in black, red, and blue-purple; the torso and back are built up through dense, aggressive cross-hatching that creates a dark, vibrating mass, while a lighter contour study of a face and hand appears to the left in sparing black lines. The contrast between the sparse linear passages and the heavily scribbled core gives the drawing a raw, kinetic energy characteristic of rapid observational work.
