A side-view figure study of a person with long, flowing hair rendered almost entirely in black ink using dense, overlapping hatching and scribbled strokes that dissolve the form into kinetic energy. The work appears to be a fast, on-location sketch executed with felt-tip markers directly into a sketchbook, contrasting heavy black masses in the hair against looser, lighter strokes describing the body.
