A bust-length profile portrait of a person with shoulder-length hair, rendered in rapid gestural strokes using multicolored markers on white paper. Layered reds, greens, teal, orange, and yellow lines build form and volume through chromatic energy rather than conventional shading, with the figure dissolving into loose calligraphic marks at the lower edge.
One of 14 drawings from this night. The 12 on sale as one unframed set: $504 instead of $720.
